- “Compassionate knowledgeable doctor who listened to my issues and my reason for being in her office. She offered me a treatment plan that is reasonable and proceeds cautiously. I rate Dr. Gutman a 5 star. I had an previous appointment with Dr. Scott Schoifet. He was abrupt, abrasive, and extremely condescending. Prior to my visit to his office, I was well aware of his reputation as an outstanding surgeon. That is what lead me to seek his consultation. His condescending attitude caught me totally off guard; and when his 3-minute visit with me ended, I was glad to have him leave the room. He did, however, recommend that I see Dr. Gutman for my sciatic nerve problem (which an MRI confirmed I did not have). For introducing me to Dr. Gutman, I am appreciative.”Patient Rating:

- “This was our family's first experience with a broken bone. The staff at both Marlton and Sewell locations could not have been nicer to my son. They were friendly and kind. He was nervous to get the cast on and off but everyone was wonderful. We never had to wait to see a practitioner or physician. - “I've had OA of both knees since I was 46, and they continued to get worse over the last 6 years. I tried the cortisone & Orthovisc injections, did some physical therapy and took a lot of Advil. I was to the point where I couldn't walk 10 minutes around the block without being in agony. My range of motion became so poor that I couldn't pedal anymore on a stationary bike so my only exercise was the warm water pool which felt good. My back issues started flaring up more as I was walking funny and my legs became very bowed. I kept putting off surgery because of my age, some fear, and thought I'd have to wait until the pain was severe enough to keep me up at night. One day I talked to someone who had their knee replaced by Dr Schoifet & said it was great, no more pain and his back pain disappeared! That day I decided to make an appointment and was soon scheduled for surgery in 3 months. I was happy, but also a little nervous about complications and fear of the pain. My first surgery was surprisingly easy and pain minimal, until of course, physical therapy, and trying to get that bend. :) I got through it & scheduled my 2nd knee four months later. Again, recovery wasn't bad, a little more painful, but I had better results once both were done. My legs are now straight, no more grinding, and that horrible ache is gone. My sciatica also disappeared. I really wish I would've done it sooner as I waited too long. My legs are still getting stronger & I feel so much better. It's been 4 months since my last surgery, and I can now ride a stationary bike for 30 minutes and walk around the block with ease. For anyone considering surgery, don't wait, you'll be so glad you had it done. ”Patient Rating:

My experiences there were excellent from the Dr. All the way done to the reception. This Hospital and the people are the best I've ever had to deal with.
