Dean Millard earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Prior to graduate school, Dean earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at West Chester University, where he was a running back on the football team. Before joining ReconSports, Dean worked in outpatient orthopedics, where he most recently specialized in higher-level athletics and injuries involving the hip and core as well as developed a "total body" approach to rehab and injury recovery.
Throughout his professional career, Dean has earned certifications in Kinesio® taping and as a Level 1 running gait analyst. His other continuing education courses have focused primarily on hands-on approaches and the athletic population, including the McKenzie technique, manual interventions and exercise interventions for the hip, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization using HawkGrips, blood flow restriction, and running mechanics exercise intervention.
In his spare time, Dean enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, being outdoors, grilling, and watching sports.
