Victoria Rink, O.T.R./L., C.H.T.

Hand Therapy Program Manager

Victoria Rink received her occupational therapy degree in 1994 at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where she attended on a full academic scholarship. After graduation, she worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Philadelphia, where she proudly served our veterans for three years. This is where she found her passion for hand therapy and began her extensive studies to specialize in upper extremity trauma and postsurgical care. She committed to the five-year process of obtaining her specialty certification in hand therapy and became a board-certified hand therapist in 2001.

Victoria began working at Inspira Health in 1997 in order to focus on her hand therapy specialty. While there, she worked closely with many area hand and plastic surgeons as well as surgeons who would refer directly to her from Philadelphia. She had the privilege and honor to be a part of groundbreaking work with one of the first female hand transplant recipients for two years posttransplantation. She became the clinical coordinator for occupational therapy at Inspira Health, and she managed five inpatient and outpatient centers with a focus on program development and specialty training in complex upper extremity care.

While with Inspira Health, Victoria also specialized in NICU care for infants and toddlers with obstetrical brachial plexus injuries. She had the opportunity to treat patients referred from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Shriners Hospital for Children with complex neurological and orthopedic complications and surgical repairs. She was instrumental in creating a pediatric outpatient clinic in Vineland, New Jersey, to better serve these children as well as those with various developmental, traumatic, and neurological disorders.

Victoria came to Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics in 2013 to establish our advanced hand therapy program. She works in partnership with our surgeons to establish a comprehensive care plan for every patient, both surgical and nonoperative. She provides same-day custom splinting and fracture bracing as well as wound care and advanced therapy for elbow, wrist, and hand disorders. She currently treats patients at both our Pitman and Sewell locations, working on-site with our surgeons to ensure both convenience and excellence in patient care services.
