Cara Guth was raised in Mohnton, Pennsylvania and attended Governor Mifflin High School, where she competed in varsity cross country and track and field. She furthered her passion for athletics in college as captain of her cross country and track teams and school record holder for the 10K. She graduated magna cum laude from DeSales University with a bachelor’s degree in medical studies, and subsequently earned her master’s degree at DeSales in the physician assistant program. During her time at DeSales, Cara volunteered at the DeSales Free Clinic, which donates medical supplies and provides free healthcare to those residing in a local shelter in Allentown.
Cara’s dedication to running and exposure to multiple injuries helped promote a passion for orthopedics. She joined Reconstructive Orthopedics in 2016.
