Lisa grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia and excelled in multiple sports. From a young age, Lisa also enjoyed helping people. These two passions combined led Lisa to pursue a career in athletic training. A graduate of Slippery Rock University, Lisa also earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1999.

While working as an athletic trainer at the University of New Haven and the University of Pennsylvania, she treated high-level athletes, helping them return to play. Lisa continued her education in medicine, becoming a physician assistant after graduating from Drexel University in 2004. Since then, Lisa has specialized in orthopedics. She has extensive experience in the spine, joint replacement, sports medicine, and hand surgery. Lisa is excited to join the Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics team at Virtua Health OrthoExpress.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys running and swimming and is a huge sports fan. Her favorite teams are the Phillies and the Eagles. Lisa and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors and remain active with their kids’ sports and activities.
