Mark was born and raised in Media, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Penncrest High School in Delaware County. He gained his passion and interest for orthopedics from his own personal experience with sports-related injuries in lacrosse, receiving treatment from an orthopedic surgery team including physician assistants.

Mark attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in health science, graduating summa cum laude in the accelerated “3+2” program. He then earned his Master of Science degree in 2013.

After graduation, Mark began his career in orthopedics in Hackensack, New Jersey. He gained valuable experience working at the Level I Trauma Center at Hackensack University Medical Center. In his eight-year career, his practice has involved sports medicine, total joint replacement, and orthopedic trauma.

In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with family, exploring nature trails, visiting local breweries, playing video games, and following a variety of sports, especially college lacrosse.
