Dr. Connor McElligott is fellowship-trained in interventional spine and pain management and board-certified in emergency medicine and pain by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is originally from New Jersey, where he grew to love the state. He attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology before attending medical school at Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York. Returning to Connecticut, he completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Connecticut in Hartford, where he led quality improvement projects and developed an extensive interest in the treatment of acute and chronic pain. After his residency, he completed an interventional pain management fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, where he trained under leaders in the field of pain medicine.

Dr. McElligott is excited to have returned to New Jersey to practice in the field of interventional spine and pain management and looks forward to working with and treating patients. He has extensive experience with fluoroscopic procedures, such as epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations, joint injections, nerve blocks, and neuromodulation. Using these techniques, he looks to continue to treat spine pain, musculoskeletal pain, nerve pain, and degenerative pain, among others. He aims to work with patients to not only improve their pain but also their quality of life. Dr. McElligott believes a strong patient-doctor relationship is paramount to providing high-quality patient care.

Dr. McElligott has published papers and served as an author for a newsletter in the field of pain medicine. He looks forward to participating in spinal interventional societies to continue his lifelong journey of learning. 

Dr. McElligott’s hobbies include outdoor activities, travel, and spending time with his friends and family.
