Russ grew up in South Jersey involved in sports year-round. He became interested in the musculoskeletal system while studying health and exercise science at Rowan University and working as a certified personal trainer. Russ graduated with national honors and earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Drexel University in 2007.
Russ has worked in emergency medicine since 2007 with a special interest in complex orthopedic cases, including the reduction and stabilization of displaced fractures and dislocations of both the upper and lower extremities.
When not working, Russ enjoys spending his time being active with his family, including coaching his children’s ice hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and soccer teams.
