Stephen grew up in South Jersey and graduated from Cherry Hill High School West. He attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick and majored in biology, minored in philosophy, and graduated with honors. He earned his Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Arcadia University. Stephen has worked in an orthopedic private practice for almost 20 years and has practiced in all aspects of orthopedics and specialized in hand, upper extremity, and trauma.

Stephen’s interest in orthopedics stems from his youth, playing soccer and lacrosse as well as swimming. Stephen played varsity rugby at Rutgers University and went on to play multiple years after for a Princeton University men’s rugby team. Although no longer playing himself, he spends a lot of time on the baseball and flag football field with the youngest two of his four boys as both a coach and fan. In addition to work and sports, Stephen loves vacationing with his family and spending time down the Jersey Shore.
