I had an previous appointment with Dr. Scott Schoifet. He was abrupt, abrasive, and extremely condescending. Prior to my visit to his office, I was well aware of his reputation as an outstanding surgeon. That is what lead me to seek his consultation. His condescending attitude caught me totally off guard; and when his 3-minute visit with me ended, I was glad to have him leave the room. He did, however, recommend that I see Dr. Gutman for my sciatic nerve problem (which an MRI confirmed I did not have). For introducing me to Dr. Gutman, I am appreciative.”
