“I made an appointment with Dr. Patil on the advice of PA Colleen Thornton who determined that the pain I was feeling down my leg was not caused by something I may have done to harm my hip replacement. Dr. Patil scheduled me for a cortisone injection in my lumbar region after seeing my X-rays. I was much impressed with how pinpointed, and specific the cortisone was injected and how mostly pain-free it was. I am so much more impressed with the results achieved after the injection. I am primarily pain-free; it went from not being able to sit without pain for more than 10 minutes or being able to stand for more than half an hour without pain to being almost pain-free down the side of my leg. I am scheduled to get injections in both my knees in the coming days for some relief of bone on bone in both knees, and I hope for similar results or at least relief of some pain. ”
